“It is better to be prepared for a disaster and not have one, than to be on a disaster and not to be prepared” – Fernando Torres II
The Philippines has been visited by different types of disasters and natural calamities: Typhoons, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions to enumerate a few.
In order to be prepared and make a difference between life and death situations brought about these disasters and natural calamities, Jose Abad Santos Chapter, General Douglas MacArthur Chapter, and Luzon Chapter Order of DeMolay conducted a Basic Life Support seminar with a theme “DeMolay: Sagip Buhay Seminar”. It was attended by different DeMolay chapters from Luzon and Hon. Grand Master Adriano “Django” B. Durano together with the Jurisdictional Master Councilor-Luzon, Bro. Pao Toledo Medina.
